2025 Giving Tuesday Campaign

The New York City Urban Debate League (“NYCUDL”) is a non-profit organization that unlocks the transformative power of debate for New York City public school students to develop the next generation of informed, compassionate, and courageous leaders. In the 2024-2025 debate season alone, we served 4,034 students from 250 schools.

For us, debate is more than a competition — it's a gateway. When students learn to question, research, and advocate, they begin to see beyond the boundaries of their neighborhoods, their classrooms, and even their own expectations. We help students use the skills gained from debate to open new worlds and give them the tools to reach new heights.
